Sooooooo....
The recession in the States is real.
I've been job hunting for almost 3 months and only landed 4 interviews so far.
Despite that, I am hopeful~ My most recent interview offer came within an hour of applying! I'm floored! And it couldn't be a more perfect position!
It's an after school program at a school that not only offers educational programming to boost children's schooling, but also personal development programs, and martial arts!~ WHAT!? How epic is that!?
Top that off with the fact that their school mission parallels my own personal mission in life and it just feels like the most perfect fit!~
The interview is on my birthday, so I'm super excited! I don't usually celebrate my birthday on the day. I usually just have some birthday cake on Halloween instead, because I always wished I had been born then and want the excuse to dress up lavishly. However, this feels like a miraculous gift after the 3 month drag without much positive feedback from employers....
I know I've been out of the country for nearly six years... but I never imagined it would be this difficult to get reintegrated! I'm just grateful I have my dad and bestie supporting me thru this transition.... I owe them both so much!

I'm also now the official photographer for the 39th Thunderbird Intertribal Powwow in Niceville! Can you believe it!? In agreeing to join in on the committee meetings I never imagined that I'd actually be able to give so much assistance! Finally, an opportunity to not only give back to the community that helped me find my way in life, but also a chance to show off some of my photography skills~
I swear! Despite the anxiety around everything, Life & Spirit truly are looking out for me and helping me fulfill my heart's desires in the most unimaginable ways!

I know it's looking rough and scary out there, but I assure you that if you look around at your immediate surroundings... you may come to see that things aren't as bad as social media and the news make them out to be~ Unless, of course, you're directly involved in any of the conflicts taking place worldwide...
