I may have nailed down a job~
It's with a previous employer and I'm still waiting for them to start the onboarding process, but it's something. The previous job offer I received was withdrawn after my debilitating migraines caused me to fail the health exam... I was heartbroken over that, hence the long silence. That and the powwow didn't turn out how I hoped it would. I had fun~ I made some new acquaintances, maybe even a friend! But... I won't be going back to that one next year. I witnessed and felt some things that grated against my spirit. However, I'm really glad I went, because I got to help some very good and kind souls~

I also just completed my very first proofreading service!
A friend asked me to proofread the first book they wrote for a children's series they are working on. It was really good! Very little needed to be updated or edited. I actually enjoyed it so much that I hope I get to proofread the next one for them~
On top of that? The Cat Distribution System blessed Bestie & I with a new little kitten!
I was the one who initially tamed her and convinced her we were safe to move in with, but after dropping her off at a spay clinic she's gone back to being less trusting... I'm sad... I miss how she used to let me cuddle her in my arms. I think she may have been a week or two pregnant, because she came back much skinnier. The clinic never told us. Since they're a free non-profit organization, they likely never even checked, so I can understand her being upset with me.
Bestie's confident she'll come around though~
Add to that the fact that I discovered The Lynx Books nonprofit!! I'll be able to submit my books to them for review to possibly sell in their store!~ They work specifically with the LBGTQ+ community and supply banned books! My first book was banned in California, from what I was told, so that makes me an author they might be willing to help support!
So, yeah!
Things are slowly starting to look up~
I'm excited to see what the future brings!
